Search and Recovery

Pre-requisite: : 12 yrs or older / PADI Advanced Open Water Diver ~ completed medical statement

This course is designed to be an introduction to search and recovery diving and to help divers develop the necessary skills and knowledge for safe search and recovery diving.

limited-visibility diving and underwater navigation techniques

proper techniques and safety considerations for object location, including the use of various search patterns, lines and reels

proper techniques and safety considerations for recovery of objects using various lifting devicess

(Note: PADI Open Water Divers with a PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty Diver certification may also enrol on the course).

· As a PADI Specialty, this course counts towards your Master Scuba Diver rating.
